Testimonials from our customers

When our 100% organic hay arrived at Laura’s barn, her horse, Precious, lost interest in the other hay she had been providing him.  Rather than eat the hay readily available to him in his stall, he would rather push his way close to the partitions of the stall where she had our Gwendolyn Farms organic hay, inch his nose between the bars, and painstakingly pull pieces out of the packed bales.  She caught him munching happily, pieces of fresh green all over his mouth.  She had stored hay there for years, but Precious never ‘broke in’ to get any before.

Debby’s husband is a veterinarian, and he was the one who explained to her why her horses were eating less, once Gwendolyn Farms’ 100% organic hay arrived at the barn.  Because there was more nutritional content to each bale, they needed to consume less.  Instead of three bales, two were more than enough, and they were still getting all the nutrients they needed and then some!  After a month she noticed a difference in their coat – and an increase in weight.

This is my horse Sha-Win and me at the 1999 Pan Am Endurance Championship in Canada (100 mile ride). He was the first horse to finish on the Central Time Zone team and the team won a Bronze Medal there. In 2001 we rode the Pan Am on the team and we won the Team Silver Medal.
He has won countless year end awards in the Midwest and Nationally. Currently, he was two very prestigious awards from the national organization, the American Endurance Ride conference (AERC): The Perfect Ten Award, which only 2 horses have previously received. This is given to horses that have been in the sport 10 years, accrued 10000 miles, finished first at least 10 times, and have received at least 10 Best Condition awards. Sha-Win far exceeds the last 2 requirements. The Hall of Fame Award is given to the most deserving horse nominated that year. It does not have to be awarded, but it usually denotes some of the best horses in the country.

I've been doing really well showing this year. The attached photo is of Enchanted Rabbitry Aidan, who was born on 1-30-05 and won one Best of Variety and two Best of Breeds at shows this year. I'll send some other photos too. Along with the Netherland Dwarfs, I'm also breeding Mini-Rex rabbits now. They're lovely small rabbits with short, plush fur.
